The Philadelphia Flyers won another game last night to improve to 16-10-3 with 35 points with a 4-3 shootout victory over the Washington Capitals. They sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division, behind only the New York Islanders and New York Rangers.
Bobby Brink.A huge part of their win last night should be attributed to Samuel Ersson. Ersson stopped 27 of 30 shots against him. He improves to 6-3-2 on the season to go along with a 2.80 goals against average (GAA) and a .885 save percentage (SV%). He continues to be a solid back up goaltender who gives the team enough to win hockey games.
Bobby Brink scored the game winning goal in the shootout.
This was an incredibly move by Brink here. The young talent that fills this lineup has a good amount of skill. That was his fifth goal of the season and 14th point.
It's great to see contributions up and down the lineup for a win. Especially contributions as ridiculous as the goal Brink scored.
