The Flyers have an exciting prospect in this young goalie.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The Philadelphia Flyers have several exciting prospects in their system. One of them is goaltender Yegor Zavragin, as the 19-year-old is playing some spectacular hockey in the KHL this season.

In 19 games this season split between HC Sochi and SKA Saint Petersburg, Zavragin has a 9-7-1 record, a 2.29 goals-against average (GAA), and a .930 save percentage (SV%).

With Zavragin being so young and putting up excellent numbers in a tough league like the KHL, it is hard not to feel plenty of excitement about him. The 2023 third-round pick is under contract until the end of the 2026-27, so he will be continuing his development in the KHL for the next few years.

It will be fascinating to see how Zavragin builds on his marvelous play at the KHL level. If he continues to play like this, he could become a huge part of the Flyers' roster later down the road.
