This Flyers prospect has been named KHL Rookie of the Month.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Philadelphia Flyers star prospect Matvei Michkov was named the NHL's Rookie of the Month for October. However, he is not the only Flyers prospect dominating their current league.

Flyers goalie prospect Yegor Zavragin has been named the KHL's Rookie of the Month as well. It certainly is warranted, as the 19-year-old dominated, recording an 8-1 record, a .933 save percentage, a 2.06 goals-against average, and two shutouts for the month.

With the Flyers' goaltending currently having plenty of questions surrounding it, having a goalie prospect like Zavragin thriving in the KHL is immensely exciting. The 2023 third-round pick will now look to continue to keep his marvelous play from here.
