This Philadelphia Flyers forward is due to break his cold streak.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Things have not gone well for the Philadelphia Flyers early on this season. After winning their season opener against the Vancouver Canucks, they have lost six straight games.

Some of the Flyers' top players have cooled off as of late, and Joel Farabee is one of them. After recording a point in each of his first three games, Farabee has been held off the scoresheet in four straight contests. In addition, he has a minus-7 rating over that stretch.

If the Flyers hope to get things back on track, they will need key forwards like Farabee to be on their A-game.

Farabee is certainly capable of making a big impact. During this past season, he set new career highs with 22 goals, 28 assists, and 50 points in 82 games. This was even the case after he struggled down the stretch.

During the Flyers ' last practice, Farabee skated on the fourth line with Nicolas Deslauriers and Noah Cates. If he hopes to move back up the lineup, he must heat back up offensively. We will need to wait and see what happens on that front from here.
