GREG WOHLFORD/ERIE TIMES-NEWS / USA TODAY NETWORK - Flyers Prospects: Barkey and Bonk Win Wayne Gretzky Trophy With London Knights

Philadelphia Flyers prospects Denver Barkey and Oliver Bonk have won the Wayne Gretzky Trophy and advanced to the OHL Final with the London Knights.

The Knights win the Western Conference title after a nervy series against the Saginaw Spirit, besting the Spirit in six games.

Barkey and Bonk were both important contributors to the Knights' playoff success, with Barkey recording three goals and 11 assists and Bonk getting four goals and four assists so far in this year's postseason.

This is London's second consecutive Wayne Gretzky Trophy win, meaning they will also be appearing in the OHL Finals to try and avenge last season's loss to the Peterborough Petes.

Both Bonk and Barkey have signed their entry-level contracts with the Flyers, but GM Danny Briere confirmed that fans will have to wait a little longer to see the pair join the Flyers system.

With the Knights securing the Western Conference title, they will need to wait until May 6 to find out if their championship opponents will be the Oshawa Generals or the North Bay Battalion.
