This Philadelphia Flyers forward should hit a new level in 2024-25.

Earlier this offseason, the Philadelphia Flyers re-signed Bobby Brink to a two-year, $3 million contract. Overall, it makes sense that both parties agreed upon a bridge deal, as Brink is a young forward who has shown promise but is still fine-tuning his game.

Brink, 23, took a step forward this past season with the Flyers, posting 11 goals and 23 points in a career-high 57 games. Overall, he provided decent secondary offensive production, but he also had some growing pains along the way.

In late January, the Flyers demoted Brink to the AHL, where he recorded seven goals and 13 points in 13 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms before being recalled. Flyers head coach John Tortorella also scratched and benched him at times.

Overall, minus some hiccups, Brink's campaign was still solid. The Minnetonka, Minnesota native possesses good potential, and because of that, it is hard not to view him as a clear breakout candidate for the Flyers in 2024-25.

When looking at the Flyers' current forward group, it seems that Brink will at least be in their middle six and given power-play time. Thus, there is a real chance that his offensive totals will jump up next season. This is especially so when noting that he should only get more adjusted to the NHL level as he continues to gain experience.

It will be intriguing to see what kind of season Brink puts together for the Flyers. The potential for the skilled winger to break out is undoubtedly there.
