This Philadelphia Flyers forward is on fire.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Philadelphia Flyers star forward Travis Konecny started off the 2024-25 a bit quietly. The 2015 first-round pick had two goals and an assist in his first six games. Given his offensive ability, this start was pretty underwhelming for the London, Ontario native.

However, Konecny has undoubtedly regained his top form since then. Over his last three games, the 5-foot-10 forward has three goals to go along with seven points. This includes a five-point night against the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 26.

Due to his hot stretch of play, Konecny now has five goals and 10 points in nine games this campaign. Now, his goal from here will be to build on it.

If the Flyers hope to turn things around after their cold start, they will need top players like Konecny to play at their highest level. Clearly, Konecny is doing just that, and it will be fascinating to see if he can maintain it from here.
