Philadelphia Flyers captain Sean Couturier hit a major milestone.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

Philadelphia Flyers captain Sean Couturier has hit a massive new milestone, as he recorded his 500th career NHL point in Saturday's (Oct. 26) matchup against the Minnesota Wild.

Couturier got his 500th career point in style, as he secured a Rasmus Ristolainen rebound in front before firing it past Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson.

It took Couturier 803 games to hit the 500-point mark of his career. He also stayed hot after reaching his 500th point, as he added another two goals and two assists after it.

Seeing how Couturier builds off his excellent performance against the Wild will be fascinating. This is a big step in the right direction for the veteran.
