The Philadelphia Flyers had a nine game point streak broken last night. The Nashville Predators won by a 4-2 score in regulation. This was the first time in the month of December that the Flyers didn't earn at least one point in a game.

Samuel Ersson has started five straight games. In those five games he's only allowed 11 goals against on 141 shots - that's good for a .922 save percentage (SV%).
Carter Hart's availability has been up and down, largely due to fighting off an illness. That appears to be behind him, because he is the projected starting goalie for tonight's game.
Ersson has filled in admirably during Hart's absence. Having the team's top goaltender back for tonight's game will hopefully give the team a welcomed boost.

Hart last played on December 9th against the Colorado Avalanche. He stopped 36 of 38 shots in a 5-2 win. He has a 2.42 goals against average and a .919 SV% on the season.
Tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings will start at 7PM Eastern Standard Time.
