This Flyers forward is starting to head in the right direction.

As Denver Barkey heads back to the London Knights after spending the last couple of months watching the Philadelphia Flyers' training camp from the sidelines, he reflects on his recovery from illness and coming back a stronger player than before.

The 2024-25 season has not been too kind to Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee. In 38 games thus far, the 2018 first-round pick has six goals, eight assists, and a minus-12 rating.

While Farabee's start to the season has not been the best, he is slowly starting to break the ice. The Syracuse, New York native has two goals in his last three games. This is after he had just one assist to go along with a minus-6 in his previous six contests.

When playing at his best, Farabee is an impactful offensive contributor. For example, even after struggling during the final portion of last season, he set career highs with 22 goals, 28 assists, and 50 points in 82 games.

The Flyers will now be hoping that Farabee can continue to produce offensively from here. If he does, it will only help the Flyers become a more difficult team to go up against as they continue to rebuild.
