Legendary ring announcer and Philadelphia native Michael Buffer was brought up to the NHL Draft podium to announce the Philadelphia Flyers' No. 13 pick.

Buffer, who has worked in boxing, professional wrestling, and the NFL, was invited on stage by Flyers GM Danny Briere to lend his iconic voice to announcing center Jett Luchanko as the organization's selection.

The originator of the famous phrase, "Let's get ready to rumble!" Buffer had Flyers fans on the edges of their seats as he made his announcement, listing some of Luchanko's stats before finally announcing Luchanko's name.

The Flyers weren't the only team to bring out a hometown hero to help announce their pick, as the Montreal Canadiens enlisted iconic singer Celine Dion to say theirs.
