The Philadelphia Flyers could target these prospects in any trades they make before the deadline.

The Philadelphia Flyers are staying the course, despite their winning ways. Daniel Briere is fixed on maintaining the timeline he set out for a rebuild.

But we've seen this year that the players are buying what John Tortorella is selling. With 39 shots on goal last night and 23 blocked shots, the team is playing well at both ends of the ice.

If they make a trade, I'd estimate that they would want to add prospects that are able to contribute at the NHL level today - if given the ice time. In my opinion, here are three prospects that should be on the Flyers radar.

Kent Johnson

The Columbus Blue jackets are in a bit of a pickle. They spent assets in the off-season to acquire Damon Severson and Ivan Provorov.

The thought process was to speed up the rebuild process and become competitive this year - and many thought that would happen. However, that's far from the case.

His six points in 14 NHL games have him producing at a 0.43 points per game pace - a touch lower than his 0.49 point pace from last year. Which is impressive because he's averaging two minutes less of ice time this season.

Johnson is primed for a top six winger role. He has skill for days and could add offensive flair to the Flyers team.

Logan Stankoven

The Dallas Stars have a few young gems within their organization. Top of the list for them is Logan Stankoven. He annihilating =the WHL last year with 97 points in 48 games.

This year he is stating his case to be the first call up with 29 points in 21 games played in the AHL. Ten of those points have come on the power play. He's not afraid to shot the biscuit - averaging 3.1 shots on goal per game.

Philip Broberg

The Edmonton Oilers recently assigned Philip Borberg to the AHL affiliate of the Oilers - the Bakersfield. The team has been fortunate to have had no injuries to their major defense group.

Only averaging 10:30 of ice time per night in the NHL, Broberg is hungry for more ice time, which is part of the reason for his demotion. The left-handed defenseman could put together at least 18 minutes a game if he was playing regularly. On the last year of his entry level contract, if the Flyers were to trade for him , writing up an extension would certainly be in the cards
