The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to recall and re-assign Alex Nylander.
Alex Nylander finally broke through for his first goal with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and he was rewarded with yet another re-assignment.
The Penguins announced that Nylander was once again re-assigned to the AHL following his second emergency recall in just a few days.
Over the course of the season, Nylander has played seven games at the NHL level and has recorded two points (1G-1A).
While spending a majority of the season at the AHL level, Nylander has scored 25 goals and 25 assists for 50 points.
Nylander has averaged 13:05 of ice in the NHL and is slowly earning himself a new contract with the Penguins next season.
At 25-years-old, Nylander is closing in on his prime and could be a solid productive player for the Penguins’ bottom-six.
