With Vinnie Hinostroza injured, the Pittsburgh Penguins have put Jeff Carter back in the lineup.
Head coach Mike Sullivan announced prior to the Pittsburgh Penguins contest against the Vegas Golden Knights that forward Vinnie Hinostroza would be out of the lineup.
Hinostroza suffered a lower-body injury in the Penguins loss to the Carolina Hurricanes and was unable to finish the game.
With his injury keeping him out of the lineup, Hinostroza will be replaced with Jeff Carter who had been dealing with an injury of his own.
Carter was healthy scratched for a handful of games before Sullivan stated that Carter was dealing with an injury.
Sullivan later confirmed that Carter has returned to health and will now be slotted in against the Golden Knights.
Carter has played in 10 games this season and is yet to record a single point.
Rickard Rakell and Radim Zohorna swapped spots in the lineup against the Hurricanes, but Sullivan has put them back for the Golden Knights.
