Penguins Fans Get Easier Option to Watch Games

Regional broadcasters of the Pittsburgh Penguins are offering a new way to view live events.

Adding pesky forward Michael Bunting was the best move of Kyle Dubas' first season with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

PITTSBURGH – Finding ways to watch Pittsburgh Penguins games just got a lot simpler with SportsNet Pittsburgh’s new service. After a season as the home for regionally broadcast Penguins games, SportsNet Pittsburgh has announced the launch of SNP 360.

The new SNP 360 is a service that allows fans to purchase a subscription to SportsNet Pittsburgh’s live programs, including Penguins games. The subscription also provides access to live Pittsburgh Pirates baseball games.

SportsNet Pittsburgh stated in a release that fans can choose how to stream their content through the new direct subscription or an existing cable login.

“We’re thrilled to expand our availability for Pittsburgh sports fans,” said Sean McGrail, President & CEO of SportsNet Pittsburgh. “Today’s fan needs to be able to access their favorite teams seamlessly, and we’re excited to now offer the option to watch SportsNet Pittsburgh via direct subscription.”

SNP 360 will cost $17.99 monthly, while customers with a preexisting cable login can subscribe at no extra cost.

The Penguins and Pirates jointly own SportsNet Pittsburgh, which is managed by Boston-based NESN. They were the first regional sports network to launch a direct-to-customer service with NESN 360.

“Today’s SNP 360 announcement expands upon investments in local sports accessibility and reaching sports fans everywhere.”
