The Pittsburgh Penguins will be a common face on national television for the 2023-24 season.

For a number of seasons now, the Pittsburgh Penguins have often found themselves playing in front of a national audience.

Things will continue to trend that way in 2023-24 as the Penguins are set to play 15 nationally broadcasted games between ESPN and TNT.

The Walt Disney Company announced their broadcast schedule with 100 games being played exclusively on ESPN, ESPN+, ABC, and Hulu.

Seven of the Penguins’ 15 nationally televised games will be on TNT, while the remaining eight on ESPN.

Everything starts for ESPN and the Penguins on October 10 when Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks travel to Pittsburgh.

The game is likely set to be No. 1 overall draft pick Connor Bedard’s first game in the NHL and the Penguins’ debut for reigning Norris Trophy winner Erik Karlsson.

Following the home opener, the Penguins will again find themselves back on ESPN against longtime rival the Washington Capitals.

While this contest will be the Penguins’’ second game of the season, it will be the Capitals first.

Other highlights on the national schedule include the Penguins against the Boston Bruins on three occasions all on ESPN.

Sidney Crosby and Conor McDavid will have a late-season battle on TNT when the Penguins host the Edmonton Oilers on March 10.
