The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced a new partnership and showed renovations getting underway.
Renovations have begun at the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins as PPG Paints Arena announces they unveil a partnership with Casamigos.
The Penguins announced in March their plans for a $30 million upgrade to the arena which was highlighted by a new scoreboard and new suite seating.
A video was posted to Twitter that showed a time-lapse of the old scoreboard, which had been hanging at PPG Paints Arena since it opened in 2011, being deconstructed.
The new scoreboard is planned to be a 55-foot by 33-foot in size and feature state-of-the-art technology.
The Penguins most recently announced that their partnership with Casamigos will be kicked off with the arena’s first ever ‘all-inclusive experience’ with the Casamigos Club.
According to the Penguins, the area will feature food, drinks, and seats all for one single price.
The area will also be available for non-hockey events for ticket holders in the section.
The new scoreboard, Casamigos Club, and other renovations are set to open in September of 2023.
