The Pittsburgh Penguins take Cooper Foster from the Ottawa 67's in the sixth round.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have drafted another forward as part of the 2023 NHL Draft.
With their sixth round selection, the Penguins took Cooper Foster 174th overall from the Ottawa 67’s of the OHL.
In 63 games during the 2022-23 season, Foster recorded 36 points with the 67’s and a pair of goals in 11 playoff games.
Foster hails from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, the same hometown as Penguins president of hockey operations Kyle Dubas.
At 5-foot-11, 172 pounds, Foster still has time to grow into a professional hockey player.
The Penguins sit with two selections remaining in the 2023 Draft; both fall in the seventh and final round.
