Steven Bisig-Imagn Images - Offense Stays Hot As Sharks Beat Kraken 4-2

The San Jose Sharks offense stayed hot against the Seattle Kraken for the second straight night as they walked away with a 4-2 victory.

Will Smith and Macklin Celebrini extended their point streaks to four games. Smith, Mario Ferraro, Cody Ceci, and Luke Kunin all scored for the Sharks, who have won back-to-back games for the first time since Oct. 31. Mackenzie Blackwood was brilliant as he made 36 saves.

The Kraken controlled the play for most of the game but couldn't handle the Sharks' counterattack. Jaden Schwartz and Jared McCann scored for Seattle, which lost its second straight to San Jose on consecutive nights. Joey Daccord made 19 saves.

Klim Kostin was noticeable yet again, extending his point streak to three games. Jake Walman also had two assists, extending his point streak to five games (two goals, five assists).

Ferraro gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead with a wrist shot from the high slot, and Kostin provided a terrific screen in front of the Kraken goalie.

Kunin exits the penalty box, takes a Ty Dellandrea drop pass, and scores his sixth goal of the season.

Ceci scored his first goal as a member of the San Jose Sharks, and Macklin Celebrini got a primary assist to extend his point streak to four.

Smith extends the Sharks lead to 4-0 after Granlund found him with a high-flying saucer pass.

Schwartz finally gets the Kraken on the board with a shot high over the blocker of Blackwood.

McCann made it 4-2 with his 10th goal of the season as he walked in from the left side and beat Blackwood bar-down over the blocker.
