
Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Hoglander was fined by the NHL Department of Player Safety.

Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Hoglander was fined $2,864.58 by the NHL Department of Player Safety on Tuesday.
That amount is the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Hoglander was assessed a match penalty for intent to injure in the game against the San Jose Sharks last night.
At 18:09 of the second period, Hoglander and Sharks forward Kevin Labanc were in a board battle, and Hoglander slewfooted the Sharks player.
Labanc was shaken up but returned to play in the third period. Sharks head coach David Quinn said that Labanc was okay.
In regards to his thoughts on the penalty:
Hoglander has to pay that fine and will be available for the Canucks next game.
