Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports - Projected No. 1 NHL Draft Pick Attending Canucks v. Oilers Game 7

Projected No. 1 pick Macklin Celebrini is attending the Vancouver Canucks game seven against the Edmonton Oilers.

The San Jose Sharks will likely pick Celebrini first overall come June 28th, and GM Mike Grier didn't hold back when asked if there was any doubt about the choice.

Celebrini is a native of Vancouver and said during the Draft Lottery Show on ESPN that the Canucks are still his favorite team. His father, Rick, has worked for the Vancouver Whitecaps of the MLS and has been part of the Canucks organization.

Rick now works as the Director of Sports Medicine and Performance for the Golden State Warriors.
