The San Jose Sharks have announced more roster moves ahead of the 2025-26 season.
First, the team has placed forward Pavol Regenda on waivers.
Regenda, 25, is entering his second year with the organization. After spending three seasons with the Anaheim Ducks, he joined the Sharks during the 2024-25 campaign.
He’s played in 19 career NHL games, recording three points, but hasn’t yet appeared in an NHL game with San Jose. Last season with the San Jose Barracuda, Regenda scored nine goals and added 16 assists for 25 points in 36 games. He also posted 16 points in 36 games with the San Diego Gulls earlier that same year.
The Sharks also announced that they have assigned forwards Colin White, Quentin Musty, and Cam Lund to the Barracuda.
White, 28, was a former first-round pick by the Ottawa Senators. He’s bounced between the NHL and AHL in recent years. Last season with the Sharks, he played in three games without registering a point, but had a solid year in the AHL with 25 points in 48 games.
Musty, 20, only appeared in three AHL games last season, spending most of his year in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sudbury Wolves, where he put up 59 points in 33 games.
Lastly, Lund, 21, split last season between Northeastern University and the Sharks. In college, he recorded 18 goals and 22 assists for 40 points in 37 games. He also played 11 games with San Jose, where he chipped in three points.
