San Jose Sharks defenseman Henry Thrun will miss some time with an upper-body injury.
The defenseman missed the last four games of the Sharks' seven-game road trip due to this injury but was activated from injured reserve before Saturday's home game against the New York Islanders.
Thrun played the entire game on Saturday but was significantly under his average time on ice this season. Against the Islanders, Thrun played just 12:42, compared to his average of 16:54.
It is unclear when he re-aggravated the injury or where he suffered it initially.
Tyler Toffoli is still considered a game-time decision against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, but he went through his normal pregame routine. At the morning skate, Toffoli skated on a line with Alexander Wennberg and William Eklund.
Noah Gregor is still sorting through his immigration process but participated in Sharks practice on Monday. He took the first-line rush through the fourth line but still hasn't been officially cleared to play.
"We're still waiting for the immigration paperwork," Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky said. "Leading up to game time, there [could be] some decisions."
