The San Jose Sharks gave a positive update on 2024 No. 1 pick Macklin Celebrini.

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky told reporters that the center has resumed skating but is still deeming him week-to-week.

Celebrini hasn't played since the Sharks' first game against the St. Louis Blues on Oct. 10. The center had a goal and an assist before being placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

    "He's progressing. He's still week-to-week," Warsofsky said.

Warsofsky said Thomas Bordeleau and Shakir Mukhamadullin are inching closer to a possible return, deeming the two as day-to-day.
