The San Jose Sharks have announced that they have placed forward Adam Gaudette on the injury reverse.
He was injured in the game against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, however, the team has yet to comment on what specific is bothering him. He left the game with just 6:39 played and didn't return to the bench after that.
With Gaudette going on the IR, that means he will be away from the team for at least seven days.
Gaudette is in the first year of a two year deal with the Sharks. He has scored three goals and an assist for four points in nine games. Over his eight year career, he has played in 310 games and has recorded 100 points.
In a corresponding move, the Sharks have activated defensemen Shakir Mukhamadullin off the IR.
