San Jose Sharks prospect Eric Pohlkamp entered the NCAA's Transfer Portal this week and has committed to Denver University. 

Early reports suggested that Pohlkamp would go to Denver or North Dakota. 

However, the breakout college defenseman has committed to DU and will join a program that loves to empower their defensemen to join the offense. 

In 32 games with Bemidji State this season, Pohlkamp scored 11 goals and 13 assists. The former USHL defenseman of the year had an incredibly strong freshman season, leading fans to believe that the Sharks 2023 fifth-round pick might've been a hidden gem in the 2023 NHL Draft.
