San Jose Sharks prospect Kasper Halttunen has been on fire during the OHL playoffs with the London Knights.

Over the last two games, the 19-year-old has picked up back-to-back hat tricks, showing just how dominant he can be when the pressure ramps up in the playoffs.

In 16 games, he has 13 goals and six assists for 19 points, and also owns one of the nicest goals we’ve seen in the OHL this season.

It’s starting to catch the attention of Sharks fans, and rightfully so. There’s a lot of excitement building around what he could look like at the NHL level.

The best part? This isn’t the first time he’s taken over in the postseason. Last year during London’s run to the Memorial Cup, he scored 17 goals in 18 games.

Sharks' Defense Prospect Breaks Another London Knights Record Sharks' Defense Prospect Breaks Another London Knights Record San Jose Sharks defenseman Sam Dickinson continues to break records in the OHL.

The former second-round pick has proven that he can be relied on as a goal scorer, and that’s going to work really well down the road with Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith.

The Sharks have done a nice job building up their prospect pool, and with how well Halttunen has played, it’ll be interesting to see if he pushes for an NHL spot next season. Whether that happens right out of camp or later down the line, he’s looking more and more like a big part of their future.
