San Jose Sharks rookie Will Smith has an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision against the Florida Panthers on Saturday.
Smith didn't participate in practice before tomorrow night's game against the Florida Panthers. Head coach Ryan Warsofsky isn't sure when Smith got hurt but told reporters he will be a game-time decision tomorrow.
"He's got an upper-body injury, probably day-to-day," Warsofsky said. "Game-time. We'll see how tomorrow shakes out."
If Smith were to miss tomorrow's game, Ethan Cardwell seems primed to take his spot with Mikael Granlund and Klim Kostin on the third line.
