San Jose Sharks returning forward Noah Gregor is still awaiting his chance to enter the lineup as he is sorting through his work visa issues.

Gregor has practiced with the Sharks since Saturday but isn't allowed to appear in a game yet.

Before Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators, Gregor skated on the Sharks' fourth line with Patrick Giles and Barclay Goodrow. Carl Grundstrom ended up playing due to Gregor's ongoing immigration issues.

"I'll find out this afternoon," Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky told reporters after Wednesday's practice on if Gregor's status changed. "I have no idea [what's holding it up]. That's a government question."

Gregor did not participate in line rushes during Wednesday's practice but was, once again, a full participant.
