San Jose Sharks top prospect Quentin Musty has returned to the Sudbury Wolves following a trade request.

San Jose Sharks top prospect Quentin Musty has returned to the Sudbury Wolves following a trade request.

Musty had been away from the Wolves because he requested a trade to a contending team in the Ontario Hockey League. Sharks general manager Mike Grier said he had wanted this situation resolved quickly.

"We've let the agent know that there needs to be a resolution to this thing pretty quickly," Grier said.

Musty is expected to make his season debut this weekend for the Wolves. The 2023 first-round pick returning to the ice gives him a chance to play for Team USA at the 2025 World Juniors.
