The San Jose Sharks have assigned three forwards to the AHL.

The San Jose Sharks placed forwards Oskar Lindblom, Ryan Carpenter, and Jacob Peterson on waivers yesterday.
All three players have cleared waivers and will report to the San Jose Barracuda.
Jacob Peterson was arguably the most likely of the trio to get claimed, but luckily for San Jose, he stays within the organization.
Carpenter and Lindblom will provide much-needed veteran leadership to a young Cuda squad. This will be Carpenter's second stint with the Barracuda. He played with San Jose from 2015-2017.
The San Jose Barracuda opened up the preseason in Bakersfield last night with a 3-2 overtime victory. The Cuda face the Condors again at 6 p.m. tonight at Tech CU Arena for their second and final preseason game.
