Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports - Former Sharks Forward Makes the Leafs

Former San Jose Sharks forward Noah Gregor makes the opening night roster of the Toronto Maple Leafs after signing a PTO.

San Jose took the speedy forward in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft. Gregor played 178 games for the Sharks and scored 26 goals.

Gregor signed a PTO with the Toronto Maple Leafs this offseason and had to battle his way onto the roster.

Gregor will start the NHL season after a strong preseason and training camp.
