San Jose Sharks All-Star Tomas Hertl will play in his second All-Star game today and again team up with Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid.
Hertl's only other All-Star appearance was in St. Louis in 2020. While the three-on-three tournament was in place, the player draft had not returned. McDavid captained the Pacific Divison and won the tournament, splitting $1 million between them.
Hertl scored five goals throughout the event, including four in his first game.
While not on the Sharks yet, Hertl was joined by Anthony Duclair that season. Ducalir was playing for the Ottawa Senators and the Atlantic Division.
Hertl would defeat the Atlantic Division in the finals. He would also score the game-winning goal that McDavid set up.
Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak, a fellow countryman, will join Hertl. Pastrnak won MVP of the tournament in 2020 despite Hertl leading in goals. Here is the rest of Team McDavid.
The All-Star game will start at Noon PST and can be seen on ABC or ESPN+.
