The San Jose Sharks lost 10-2 to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the locker room reaction wasn't good.

Here's what Mikael Granlund, Mario Ferraro, Anthony Duclair, and head coach David Quinn had to say postgame.

David Quinn Quotes:

"I liked that first period. But then, all of a sudden, we became a different team. That's what happened in the game. They kept playing the same way. We gave up the third goal, and we are a fragile group."

"We got between now and Monday to figure that out," Quinn said about simplifying the Sharks game.

"Guys [are] trying to prove themselves and establish themselves. That's what we all acknowledged before the season started."

Mikael Granlund Quotes:

"I mean, 20 goals in two games. That's where we're at right now. There's a lot of work ahead of us."

"There's only one way up here, and it goes day by day doing the right thing. This is the reality right now."

Mario Ferraro Quotes:

"Definitely a better start. The second period, again, [we] gave them a couple goals, and it's just not good enough. It's just not good enough that second or third at all. We got a lot of work to do."

"I think we're feeling the pressure. We want to get this first win and go from there and continue to build on it. It's just human nature to want to make a difference. I think it's gotten our mind off what we're all supposed to do as individuals."

"I'm gonna show up again tomorrow. Be ready to work. It's our job. So it sucks. It stings, but I can't give it up. Nobody in this room has given up. [Let's] face reality: there are worse things out there in life. We're gonna come back tomorrow. We're gonna keep working. We're gonna turn this thing around."

Anthony Duclair Quotes:

"We just gotta be stronger on pucks. I think we're losing way too many battles. It's just way too easy for the opposing team to come in, especially in front of our fans. I think our battle level is just nonexistent sometimes. It's just costing us."

"I don't know what else the coaches can do. It's on us. They're doing a great job motivating us and getting us ready for the games and the game plan. The game plan is the game plan; we just got to follow it. Right now, us players, we're not following it, and it's costing us."

"Nobody's pissed off right now. There's a problem. [We] should be coming in every game, motivated and ready to go right off the puck drop, and two games in a row now, we're just giving up two quick ones, and [we are] just fragile right now."
