The San Jose Sharks head on the road searching for their third straight win and face the Vegas Golden Knights.

The San Jose Sharks (2-10-1) visit the Vegas Golden Knights (11-2-1) to search for a third straight win.

The Sharks have earned back-to-back wins for their first two wins of the season but face the reigning champs.

"[We] get the chance to go play Vegas in Vegas. A team we've played well against over the last year plus," Sharks head coach David Quinn said last night. "[We] had a good game with them here. Those two goals late in the third. The second period it was a 1-1 game. So I think we've come a long way since then."

Kaapo Kahkonen is expected to start in the crease tonight. Mackenzie Blackwood has started the past two games. Quinn joked that he would be "arrested for abuse" if he started Blackwood on back-to-back nights.

Calen Addison made his San Jose Sharks debut yesterday and has a chance to expand on his game tonight.

"I liked Addison's game. We play a different system than in [Minnesota], but he'll improve. For getting in late, he did a good job," Quinn said this morning.

Quinn alluded to some players not feeling well, so there could be lineup changes.

Sharks projected lines:

Eklund-Hertl-Zetterlund
Duclair-Granlund-Kunin
Hoffman-Sturm-Zadina
Smith-Carpenter-Labanc

Ferraro-Addison
Vlasic-Burroughs
Okhotiuk-Rutta

Kahkonen
Blackwood

Although it will be a tough matchup, the Sharks have played better since GM Mike Grier addressed the team.
