Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports - Pregame Preview #16: Sharks Finish Season Series Against Panthers

The San Jose Sharks (2-12-1) finish their season series against the Florida Panthers (9-4-1) tonight.

The Panthers come to town looking to win both games against the Sharks this season. On Oct. 23, the Panthers won 3-1.

Steven Lorentz will make his return to the SAP Center. Although he was here for one season, Lorentz became a fan favorite.

Sharks head coach David Quinn said that Mackenzie Blackwood will start in goal. Danil Gushchin will play as well.

Another change is that Ty Emberson will enter the lineup for Kyle Burroughs. Emberson was on the powerplay at practice yesterday,

"[I am] working hard to get back in the lineup," Emberson said yesterday. "It takes some trust to put someone on the powerplay, so I'm excited for the chance. I just gotta go out there and try to play my game."

    Sharks projected lines:

    Eklund-Hertl-Zetterlund
    Gushchin-Granlund-Kunin
    Zadina-Sturm-Labanc
    Smtih-Carpenter-Hoffman

    Ferraro-Addison
    Okhotiuk-Rutta
    Vlasic-Emberson

    Blackwood
    Kahkonen

Puck drop is at 7:30 and can be seen on ESPN+ or the Sharks Audio Network.
