The San Jose Sharks take on the Edmonton Oilers for the second time tonight as Magnus Chrona gets his first NHL start.

Sharks head coach David Quinn told THN that Magnus Chrona will make his first NHL start tonight.

"Stop pucks," Quin laughed about what he wants from Chrona. "Just be calm. I know it's going to be an exciting night for him and probably a little nerve-wracking all at once, but turn the nerves and excitement and feed off it."

As for facing McDavid and Leon Draisaitl:

"He shouldn't be [thinking about them]. But he might be," Quinn smiled.

Ryan Carpenter was activated from IR today, and Givani Smith was placed on IR. Quinn did not confirm that Carpenter would return to the lineup.

Kevin Labanc and Marc-Edouard Vlasic will be healthy scratches for the Sharks.
