The San Jose Sharks have six prospects at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship and have started to make their mark.

Will Smith scored the opening goal for Team USA in their 11-3 win over Switzerland today.

Eric Pohlkamp joined the fun with the USA's 11th goal.

Filip Bystedt is off to a hot start for Team Sweden. He scored two goals in Sweden's first win and assisted fellow Sharks prospect Mattias Havelid's goal in their second game.

Bystedt has once again shown that he can be an offensive force on the international level. In last year's tournament, he had ten points in seven games. He's up to three in two games so far this year.

Mattias Havelid has opened eyes at this year's tourney. The defenseman has three points across Sweden's two wins. His slap shot from the point has been super accurate.

Kasper Halttunen and Finland have gotten off to a 0-2 start. Halttunen scored in Finland's second game from close.

Halttunen has shown his touch around the net and scoring prowess. He will need to continue his development throughout the season back in the OHL.

Jake Furlong doesn't have a point in two games for Team Canada but has been a steady defenseman for his squad.

He will play against Bystedt and Havelid tomorrow in Canada and Sweden's third game of the World Juniors.

San Jose Sharks prospects have been displayed in almost every game so far.
