The San Jose Sharks continue to receive updates on their injured blueliners. Henry Thrun and Jan Rutta hit the ice for the first time since their injuries today.

Thrun has missed nine of the last ten games with an upper-body injury, and Rutta the previous 19 with a lower-body injury.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic re-aggravated his upper-body injury that kept him out to start the season, and he has missed the last two games. Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky did not rule him out for the remainder of the season.

Vincent Desharnais did not practice on Monday due to an upper-body injury and is questionable to play on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

"We're hopeful he'll be good to go, but we will have a better idea tomorrow," Warsofsky said about Desharnais.

San Jose currently has only five defensemen on its roster, and if Desharnais cannot play on Thursday, the Sharks will need to recall a defenseman from the AHL.
