Kasper Halttunen scored a goal in his debut with the London Knights of the OHL last night.
Halttuen electrified the 9,036 fans in attendance as he powered a one-timer past the netminder.
"This guy's got an NHL release. An NHL shot," Sharks head coach David Quinn said on 9/26. "I think he's got a good brain. He wants to get better. He's very coachable."
Halttunen skated in one preseason game for the San Jose Sharks. Halttunen played 17:19 and had two shots on goal.
Playing on North American ice in the OHL should benefit the big forward. Sharks fans should watch how his season goes, as he could be the team's next big sniper.
