
Seattle, WA- The Seattle Kraken improved to 8-6-0 all-time against the San Jose Sharks, including a 5-2-0 record at home, with a dominant 6-2 victory at home Thursday night. The win showcased a remarkable team effort, as 10 different Kraken skaters contributed to a total of 13 points. Ahead of the game, the Kraken called up Ales Stezka as backup goalie to Joey Daccord and defenseman Cale Fleury from the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Seattle's offensive burst was particularly impressive in the second period, where they scored four goals in just 5:49—the fastest four goals by the team this season. The Kraken’s defensemen continued their offensive prowess, with Brandon Montour leading the way. He scored twice in the game and now ranks among the league leaders in goals scored by defensemen, with 33 total this season. Montour's two-goal effort marked his fourth point (2g/2a) over the last two games.
Eeli Tolvanen also kept his goal streak alive, tying his career-long stretch with his fourth goal in as many games. Shane Wright extended his career-high point streak to four games, contributing a goal and three assists for a total of four points during that span. Chandler Stephenson added another solid performance, registering a goal and two assists to bring his total to five points (1g/4a) in his last five games.

Jaden Schwartz, who has been one of the Kraken’s offensive leaders, scored again, marking his second consecutive game with a goal. He now leads the team with 18 goals this season. Meanwhile, Jared McCann and Jamie Oleksiak each chipped in with assists and extended their point streaks to two games. Oliver Bjorkstrand also added to the offense, finishing with a goal and an assist on the night.

Joey Daccord made 26 saves on 28 shots. The Kraken have a chance to tie the series with a win in their next meeting in San Jose on April 5th.
The Kraken's homestand continues on Sunday, February 2nd as they host the Calgary Flames and celebrate Black Hockey History Night on Tuesday, February 4th against the Detroit Red Wings.
