It’s been a rough start to the road trip for the Tampa Bay Lightning, losing their first two games. They've given up a combined 9 goals and scored just three. Tonight they’ll have a chance to get their road trip back on track.

Columbus currently sits at the bottom of the Metropolitan division with not much to lose. They’ve had just 3 wins in their last 10 games, but it would be a mistake to count any team out.

The Lightning will be looking to get back to where they were before the Allstar break. Losing Mikhail Sergachev to a fractured tibia and fibula on Wednesday night seems to have affected the morale of the team slightly. They have to find a way to get things moving again.

In Thursday’s game against the Islanders, the Lightning defaulted back to old habits we saw in the first half of the season. Giving up goals in bunches, turning the puck over and letting up on defense.

Boston, Colorado, and Florida are up next on the schedule, so tonight is a must win. Puck drop is at 7pm.
