This former Lightning forward had a major bounce-back game for the Canucks.
Former Tampa Bay Lightning forward J.T. Miller had a disappointing Game 4 against the Edmonton Oilers. He notably texted Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet to apologize for his performance, but his coach had his back.
Heading into Game 5, Miller was a clear player to watch for the Canucks because of this. In the end, he stepped up big time for Vancouver, scoring the game-winning goal late in the third period. With it, the Canucks now have a 3-2 series lead over Edmonton.
This was a real redemption moment for Miller, and the Canucks fans made sure to praise him for it. With three seconds left on the game clock, Vancouver fans chanted, "J.T. Miller" to show their appreciation for his game-clinching goal.
It is great to see the former Bolt getting some major love from Canucks fans. He has been nothing but excellent for them since being dealt there, and this latest clutch moment only builds on that.

Miller, 31, has appeared in 11 playoff games this year for the Canucks, posting three goals, 12 points, and a plus-7 rating.
