The NHL announced the winners of the 2025 Stanley Awards last week during the Club Business Meetings in Seattle, with all 32 clubs from the 2024-25 season in attendance.
The Lightning were awarded ‘Game Presentation of the Year’, recognizing the team’s outstanding creativity, execution, artistic, experimental, and technically complex elements that go into their overall game presentation.
The Bolts were finalists for the award back in 2022 and 2024, but ultimately fell short to the Vegas Golden Knights.
While Amalie Arena may be quiet for now, it won’t be for long. The NHL announced that the Lightning will open the 2025-26 season at home on October 9, facing off against the Ottawa Senators.
The Bolts will start the season with two home games before heading out on a four-game road trip against Boston, Washington, Detroit, and Columbus.
A highlight of their schedule comes on February 1, when the Lightning will take on the Boston Bruins in the 2026 NHL Stadium Series at Raymond James Stadium.
