According to Erik Erlendsson, the Tampa Bay Lightning have placed defenseman J.J. Moser on injured reserve. With this IR placement, the left-shot defender will miss the next three games at least and will not be permitted to return until at least Dec. 22 against the Florida Panthers.
Moser, 24, suffered an undisclosed injury in the Lightning's last matchup on Dec. 12 against the Calgary Flames. During the matchup, he had an assist in 12:23 of ice time.

Moser being out is certainly tough news for the Lightning, as he has blossomed into a key part of their blueline. In 27 games this season, he has two goals, 10 points, and a plus-13 rating.
In addition to Moser's IR placement, Declan Carlile has been recalled from the Lightning's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

Carlile, 24, has played in 21 games this season with the Crunch, where he has one goal, two assists, and a plus-1 rating. He also played in his first career NHL game with the Bolts last season, where he had a plus-1 rating in 11:27 time on ice.
