This Lightning star had a historic night against the Flames.

The Tampa Bay Lightning picked up an impressive 8-3 win over the Calgary Flames in their last contest. Nikita Kucherov played a significant role in the win, as he dominated offensively.

Kucherov had five assists and six points on the night, tying two Lightning single-game records. Kucherov also became the only Lightning player in franchise history to have multiple career six-point games.

After this fantastic performance, Kucherov now has 14 goals, 44 points, and a plus-8 rating in 25 games this season. The 31-year-old winger also extended his ongoing point streak to six games, where he has 15 points over that span.

Kucherov is simply playing unreal hockey right now, and he has now made more Lightning history in the process.
