The Lightning have made some roster moves.

Will Nikita Kucherov be the next NHL player to hit 1,000 career points?

The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Conor Sheary from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch. In addition, goaltender Matt Tomkins has been returned to the Crunch.

Sheary, 32, has played in three games this season with the Lightning, where he has zero points and a minus-2 rating. Last month, he was placed on waivers by the Lightning and has been with the Crunch since. However, he is now getting another chance with the NHL roster.

In 11 games this season with the Crunch, Sheary has three goals, seven points, and a plus-2 rating.

Tomkins, on the other hand, was recalled by the Lightning on Friday (Nov. 29). However, he is now heading right back to Syracuse with this latest roster move. In eight games this season with the Crunch, he has a 3-5-0 record, a .890 save percentage, and a 3.12 goals-against average.
