The Tampa Bay Lightning are gearing up to be buyers at the 2025 NHL trade deadline. One area that the Lightning are aiming to improve is their forward group, and their biggest need is another top-six right winger.

It appears that they have a notable one on their radar, as The Fourth Period reported that the Lightning are one of four teams currently linked to Vancouver Canucks star Brock Boeser.

Boeser, 27, has been the subject of trade rumors as the deadline approaches. This is because he has yet to sign an extension with the Canucks and is a pending unrestricted free agent. Thus, there is a possibility that he could be traded by the March 7 deadline.

When looking at the Lightning's lineup, they could undoubtedly use an impactful winger like Boeser. He would give them a clear solution for their second-line right wing problem. In addition, he would be an obvious fit on their power play because of his offensive skill.

Boeser has appeared in 49 games this season with the Canucks, where he has 18 goals and 35 points. This was after he had 40 goals and 73 points in 81 games with Vancouver this past season.
