It's safe to say that Andrei Vasilevskiy has impressed one of the NHL's greatest goaltenders.
Tampa Bay Lightning star goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy has had a remarkable NHL career. He was a significant reason for the Lightning's back-to-back Stanley Cups. With that, he has a Conn Smythe Trophy and Vezina Trophy on his resume. He is also a five-time NHL All-Star. The craziest part about all of this is that he is still just 29 years old and has many years left in his prime to build on his Hall-of-Fame-worthy career.

Clearly, Vasilevskiy has grabbed the attention of everyone in the hockey world, and that includes one of the greatest goalies ever. When recently asked who the top five goalies in the NHL are, legend Martin Brodeur named Vasilevskiy first. From there, he said Igor Shesterkin (New York Rangers), Ilya Sorokin (New York Islanders), Adin Hill (Vegas Golden Knights), and Jacob Markstrom (Calgary Flames).
Being deemed as the top goalie in the NHL by one of the best ever to do it is quite an honor for Vasilevskiy. However, it certainly is warranted, as Vasilevskiy has had an outstanding career, and he takes his game to another during the postseason.
Nevertheless, it is cool to see Vasilevskiy getting such praise from a legend like Brodeur. Brodeur certainly knows a thing or two about talent as well, as he has the most career wins by a goaltender in NHL history with 691.
