After 12 years with the Lightning organization, Alex Killorn returns to Tampa for the first time since signing with the Ducks.

The Lightning need points, and this is a game where they should be able to grab two. Injuries have begun to add up for Anaheim. Starting goaltender, John Gibson is considered day-to-day. It was confirmed at Saturday's morning skate that Lukas Dostal will get the start in net. Leo Carlsson, Max Jones, Trevor Zegras and Pavel Mintyukov are all dealing with injuries as well.

Former Lightning forward Alex Killorn is currently skating on the top line for the Ducks. After missing the first 10 games with a broken finger, Killorn has 17 points in 31 games. It’s going to be an emotional night having him back at Amalie Arena.

Right now the Ducks are averaging just 2.01 goals per game at even strength which will give the Lightning a chance to sharpen up on defense. Regardless of the outcome Thursday night, the Bolts had some holes in their game defensively. Improving there will give them the consistency they need to get points.

Anthony Cirelli is riding a five-game point streak against Anaheim (4-4—8) with three multi-point efforts during that span. The young guys have been full of energy in the past two games, I’d expect more of the same. Puck drop is at 7pm.
